Singapore Institute of Materials Management (SIMM) is a non-profit organisation offering sponsorships as a way of support for the materials management industry.
The SIMM - SINDA sponsorships are offered to candidates interested in a Part-Time course at SIMM.

- Singapore Citizen or Permanent Resident of Indian origin
- Existing SIMM students are not eligible to apply for this sponsorship
- Applicant must obtain the letter of offer from SIMM before the application
- Must submit a short essay on the reason for the sponsorship application
- Total net household Per Capita Income (PCI) should not exceed $1,600
- Applicants must meet entry requirements to the selected course of study as set by SIMM
- The selection of candidates will be based on the following criteria:
- Academic Ability
- Competence
- Attitude
- Meeting Course Requirements
Note:
- All sponsorships entail Course Fees only. Miscellaneous fees such as the course application fee, SIMM membership fee, English and Business Communication module, textbooks, etc., as well as non-tuition fees, supplementary exam fees, and re-module fees are not covered under the sponsorship and are borne by the student.
- The sponsorship is only tenable for a specific period of study. Should the student decide to drop out or defer, the Sponsorship will be voided, and the student has to re-pay the quantum of the Sponsorship.
- Shortlisted candidates will be notified of the interview date, and only successful candidates will be informed of the outcome by SINDA.
- The committee's decision is final. SINDA does not enter into correspondence with regard to the reasons for the non-selection of applicants.
- You may only start your course after receiving the Sponsorship offer and signing the SINDA student agreement.
- Candidates are required to volunteer their time with SINDA upon completion and/or during the course.
- Visit SIMM Institute, 728A Geylang Road, Singapore 389639 and speak with a course consultant, do mention that you will be applying for the SIMM-SINDA Sponsorship.
- Ask the consultant if there are any bridging modules you need to take up in order to start your Diploma or certificate course.
(Please note that fees for bridging modules are not included in the Sponsorship). - The applicant must obtain the letter of offer from SIMM before the sponsorship application.
- Please ensure you upload all the supporting documents to your online SINDA Scholarship application.
- You are required to apply for the sponsorship 1 month before the Closing Date indicated in the table above.
- Application Processing Time: Approximately 3 – 4 weeks

- Work/Internship experience
- CCA/Volunteering achievements
- Copies of Relevant Certificates and Testimonials (e.g. GCE ‘N’ Level, GCE ‘O’ Level, Diploma, Co-Curricular Activity records, Leadership/ Volunteer experience, etc.)
- Recent Photograph
- NRIC of Applicant and all Family Members staying in the same household (both sides of NRIC)
- Income Verification - Applicant and Family Members staying in the same household who are:
- Employed to produce both of the following:
- Copy of the CPF contribution history for the last 6 months and
- Copy of the latest 3 months’ payslips
- Unemployed/Retired/Homemaker to produce:
- Copy of CPF contribution history in the last 6 months
- Employed to produce both of the following:
- Other supporting documents of the applicant and family members (e.g., Medical letter, death certificate or divorce certificate, etc.)
Applications without all the supporting documents will not be processed.
